So Great Brands add value. How much?
Apple's brand value for 2020 according to Forbes is 260.2 Billion dollars.
So they sold all their computers at a much bigger margin than their competitors … made a tidy profit,
and still achieved 17% growth on top of their profit, from the brand value itself. $44200000000.
Yep, it adds value!
Can a brand become a living asset? We have always believed it can! But now more than ever in these crazy COVID times, we believe it even more. That said, any conversation about the cost of rebranding should begin with a reminder that at the end of the day, rebranding is not a cost, but rather an investment. One that, if done properly, will yield exponential returns over the life of your business. Wherever your needs fall on the rebranding spectrum, though, the most important advice we can give is not to cut corners up front. It will save you a fortune going forward, and add exponentially in the long run. Why? Because every sale will have a better profit margin, there will be less shopping around for better prices and if done well your brand value will grow as well. Whereas a sale now, without a really great brand behind it, is just that, a sale now with profit margins challenged at every turn.
